SWANS FIGHT BACK BUT DROP TWO POINTS

Swanage travelled to take on second bottom, Bridport Reserves, today hoping for 3 points to exert pressure on the top two. Swans surprisingly found themselves 2-0 down at the break, as the Bees swarmed all over them conceding in the 4th and 15th minute and offering little in return in a very disjointed first half performance. H.T.2-0.
The Swans hit the ground running in the second half with 3 goals in a 7 minute spell, the first after 46 minutes from Liam Currell with a strike from outside the box, then 3 minutes later from Keith Middleton direct from a free kick, then the in-form Jamie Holland edged the Swans ahead on 52 minutes smashing home from close range. This was now a completely different Swanage from the first half and further chances were created with the Swans dominating for long periods. Bridport refused to lay down and equalised in the 70th minute for a share of the spoils.

Top of the table Swanage Reserves gained 3 more points defeating Chickerell Reserves 3-1 at Days park. Lee James and Jamie Dunn scored the goals to give the Swans a 2-1 half time lead, and a strike in the second half from Tommy Churchill sealed the win and maintained top spot.
